Renewable Energy

What happens to renewable energy sources when the sun doesn't shine, or the wind doesn't blow?

Renewable energy sources are often limited due to their intermittent availability. That's where hydrogen plays a role. When the wind doesn’t blow or the sun doesn’t shine, hydrogen can be the critical link used as a storage medium to supply power during these periods.

Canada is a world-leader in both developing and deploying hydrogen energy systems to help improve the use of renewable energy sources, including wind, solar and hydro-electric power.
