CALGARY – CHFCA is delighted to announce Ayrton Energy as a new Start-up Member.
Ayrton Energy is breaking the traditional limits of hydrogen storage by enabling the safe, efficient delivery of hydrogen through their proprietary liquid hydrogen storage technology. Ayrton’s liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) storage technology presents an opportunity for large, scalable and efficient transport of hydrogen over long distances, while mitigating hydrogen loss and pipeline corrosion. The storage technology provides a dense hydrogen storage medium without cryogenics or pressure.
Natasha Kostenuk, Founder and CEO of Ayrton Energy, spoke about Ayrton Energy and joining the association: “We are very excited to be a new member of the CHFCA. As Canada accelerates its efforts to develop a low-carbon hydrogen economy, our liquid organic H2 carrier (LOHC) storage technology presents an opportunity for large, scalable, and efficient transport of H2 over long distances while mitigating H2 loss and pipeline corrosion. This technology not only facilitates safe and efficient hydrogen storage but also enables its transportation through existing infrastructures, including tanks, rail cars, transport trucks, and pipelines. By joining the association, we seek to collaborate with other members to break the limits of traditional hydrogen storage by advancing our groundbreaking LOHC storage technology and, ultimately, to pave the way for a prosperous hydrogen future in Canada.”
“CHFCA enthusiastically welcomes Ayrton Energy, a women-led startup specializing in hydrogen storage and transportation solutions, dedicated to overcoming critical hurdles in hydrogen’s broader energy adoption,” says Ivette Vera-Perez, President and CEO of the CHFCA. “We eagerly anticipate empowering Ayrton’s industry growth and influence.”
