Portfolio Manager of Energy and Environment, Industry Solutions, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

Dr. Agatha E. Ojimelukwe is the Portfolio Manager of Energy & Environment programs in Industry Solutions at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). Agatha leads the development and continuous improvement of programs focused on enabling the re-skilling and up-skilling of professionals in the energy and environment sectors and works in partnership with industries to build tailored courses that meet their needs.

Some projects include:

• Micro-credentials in hydrogen fuel cell technology
• Hydrogen handling systems for the trades
• Development of carbon capture, use and sequestration courses
• Launch of NAIT’s Circularity training

Before taking on the role of the Portfolio Manager at NAIT, Agatha served as a research specialist, providing insights that support executive and mid-management decision-making on educational program delivery, including enrolment planning. For five-plus years, Agatha worked as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Biology. She supported the learning and development of undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Port Harcourt through teaching and research leadership.

Dr. Agatha Ojimelukwe holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in the Applied Sciences, has seven+ years of experience in post-secondary teaching, research, and leadership and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
