Jeff Murphy is the Vice President, Capital Projects, with North Atlantic. With 20+ years of engineering and project management expertise, coupled with a deep understanding of renewable energy, Jeff is driving the development of North Atlantic’s Green Energy Hub—a groundbreaking initiative poised to revolutionize Newfoundland and Labrador’s energy landscape. The Hub will include the facilities to produce renewable wind power, green hydrogen, and their derivatives – including green ammonia, green methanol, and liquid organic hydrogen carriers. Leveraging decades of refinery and terminal operations and the industrial ecosystem that has been built around them, Jeff will help position the full-service Hub as a centralized location for manufacturing, construction, operations, and maintenance services necessary to support the region’s bourgeoning wind industry.

Additionally, Jeff will spearhead the creation of the Green Energy Centre of Excellence, a cutting-edge research and training facility designed to enhance the skills of industry professionals. A proud Newfoundlander and Labradorian, Jeff Murphy is deeply passionate about positioning the region as a global leader in green energy and hydrogen.
